Q: Are teachers responsible for unexcused Absences and Tardies? A: That is the school administration's decision. The Administrative staff can edit a teacher’s mark of Absent to Excused Absence or Unexcused Absence at a later time. The school can choose whether or not to give the faculty access to all attendance codes, such as AE or AU. Q: Do I have to save attendance? A: No, clicking the attendance codes into the grid automatically saves the attendance record. Q: Can I change an attendance code for a student if he or she shows up late to class and I've already entered Absent? A: Yes. If you’ve marked a student absent and he or she shows up late for class, highlight the Tardy code and click the Absent code you wish to change. Q: Can teachers override attendance/tardy status assigned by the office or vice versa? A: Yes, it is possible for attendance/tardy codes to be changed; however, school policy will dictate who is responsible for updating codes.

Over 150 Schools Processed 13,000 Online Applications During the 2011/2012 Admissions Season Living Word Christian School Reports an 86% Increase in New Student Enrollment 90% of Participating Schools Charged Application Fees Totaling $1 Million, with Fees Averaging $82 per Online Application
October 19, 2011 - RenWeb School Management Software today released results of its Online Application processing for the 2011/2012 school year.
Over 150 schools processed 13,000 Online Applications during the 2011/2012 admissions season. Of these schools, 90 percent charged application fees, which totaled $1 million. The average fee charged to prospective parents was $82 per online application.
"Schools have experienced terrific results with Online Application, including raising enrollments, generating more application fees, and reducing data entry expense," said Brad Lee, CEO of RenWeb School Management Software.
"Private school parents are online every day shopping, banking and paying bills. They prefer the convenience of the Internet, including completing forms online rather than filling them out by hand. Online Application is a natural fit in today's world, and we encourage every school to experience the same success that many of our schools have reported," continued Lee.
Per Stacie Harrell at Living Word Christian School in O'Fallon, MO:
"We had more applicants and new students than ever before because the new Online Application system was easier to use than our old paper application process. Last year we had approximately 100 new students. We have 186 new students attending our school this year - an 86 percent increase in new students!! We have so many new students that we ran out of locker space. Students are sharing lockers for the first time. Our board is meeting next week to discuss a separate building for middle school only. Now I can easily track and report for our board how many students are interested in attending our school for the 2012/2013 school year!"

Per Courtney Haindel at Northlake Christian School in Covington, LA:
"Northlake Christian began using Online Application in January of 2011. The product has been WONDERFUL. RenWeb asked plenty of questions to get our initial Online Application set up and then walked us through the incredibly easy process of modifying the applications as we needed. All the parts of Online Application are linked to RenWeb fields, so when a new family applies and is accepted, everything transfers right into RenWeb. The best part is that all the online application forms and instructions can be embedded right on our website, so potential families can do everything as a 'one-stop shop.' After our Open Houses, we flash up a screen shot of Online Application, tell the families to click on 'Apply Now,' and our part is done. Parents can easily go in and set up their Online Application account and create as many applications for their kids as they need. From the Admissions office standpoint, Online Application has automated nearly every part of what used to be a painstaking process of entering the data, copying the applications, scanning in pictures and documents, etc. This has saved us a ton of time and money. And because the families are filling out the applications themselves, there is little to no data entry error. I cannot recommend Online Application enough! It is worth exponentially more than the nominal fee it costs to process each application. Any school that wants to drastically improve and simplify their application process needs to sign up for RenWeb?s Online Application pronto!"
