February 11, 2013 – RenWeb School Management Software today announced that it surpassed the 2,500 school milestone in 2012, reinforcing RenWeb’s position as the leading provider of cloud-based school management systems for private schools.
Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) is one of the latest examples of schools that are converting to the industry leader in search of the integrated services RenWeb provides. CAK, located on a 77-acre campus in West Knoxville, TN, provides a co-ed day school to 1,150 students enrolled in grades PreK-12.
CAK previously used PowerSchool for its student information system and Blackbaud for student billing and fundraising.
“We are converting to RenWeb because of the wide range of integrated services RenWeb provides,” said Scott Sandie, CAK Superintendent. “Not only does it give us the opportunity to move enrollment and admissions to a paperless format, but it also enables all three of our schools, and our admissions, business and development offices to be operating on a fully-integrated database management system.”
According to Sandie, CAK’s goal when they purchased RenWeb in December was to get the system up and running by February 1 for the 2013-14 re-enrollment season.
“RenWeb’s support team worked diligently to ensure we met this deadline and we appreciate their efforts,” Sandie said. “We are very excited to share this new and improved program with our families.”
After re-enrollment is completed, CAK will use RenWeb’s scheduling tool to build its 2013-2014 schedules. CAK will also take advantage of RenWeb’s on-site teacher training to equip this school’s 100-plus faculty members with the many features they will be using on a daily basis.
“The decision to make this change was reached through evaluation by a number of different stakeholders on campus who looked at what we had, what our needs were, and the options available to us,” Sandie said. “The general consensus was that RenWeb would be a good long-term fit for CAK.”

Trinity Christian Switches to RenWeb in Search of Better Parent Communication, Higher Teacher Satisfaction and Live Help-Desk Support
July 19, 2011 – RenWeb School Management Software today announced that the company has achieved the 2,000-customer milestone as schools continue to convert to RenWeb at a rapid pace to benefit from RenWeb’s power, integration, affordability and ease-of-use. Since January of 2008, RenWeb has added more than 1,000 new private schools to the company’s customer base, reinforcing RenWeb’s position as the leading provider of Internet-based school management systems for private schools. Trinity Christian School, located in Windsor, CT, is the latest example of the wave of conversions to the industry leader. Trinity made the switch to RenWeb from a cheaper Web-based program in search of improved parent communication, higher teacher satisfaction and the widely accessible live help-desk support that is part of RenWeb's offering. Brad Lee, Chief Executive Officer of RenWeb, stated, “RenWeb’s rapid ascension to the 2000-school milestone – doubling our customer base in less than three-and-a-half years – is a testimony to an offering our competitors just can't match: not just unparalleled power, integration and ease-of-use, but also the enhanced value of world-class customer service and support, including a well-staffed Live Help Desk, all for one affordable price.” Cathi Sasportas, Public Relations and Development Director for Trinity Christian School, said of their decision to invest in a higher-quality school administration program: “Before switching to RenWeb, our school had been using a cheaper Web-based system, but we didn’t feel it was fulfilling our needs. The parents at our school thought it was not user-friendly, and many just refused to use it because they felt it was complicated and took too many clicks to get to each child’s grades, assignments and notes from their teachers.” Continued Ms. Sasportas: “Our teachers were also dissatisfied and complained that our old program was not meeting their expectations. Teachers felt common tasks such as recording grades were difficult and took much longer to complete than they should have taken. The cheaper program’s issues were even more aggravating because of their lacking Help Desk support. Our faculty and staff members were told they were not allowed to communicate with the Help Desk unless they were deemed a “Super User” – a designation granted to only two people in the school. Plus, when the Super Users called with questions, they were asked to check the manual and jump through several hoops before someone would answer their questions.” Ms. Sasportas added: “Because of our frustration, I did some research and talked to other schools about their experiences with RenWeb. I found that all the schools I spoke to were thrilled with RenWeb. I was excited to learn of all its features: how easy it is to use; how it will help us communicate better with our families; and that there is easy access to live support if we have a question – something we did not have before. We're excited to know RenWeb has a very accessible Help Desk that even our teachers can access. The staff was very happy to hear about the Live Phone Support and Live Chat Help that is available during business hours. This will help us in a great way.” Concluded Lee, “Trinity Christian School’s experience is typical of what we’re hearing from many schools who have switched to us from cheaper Web-base programs: it's not enough to get a low price – schools need the accessible and responsive customer support they now enjoy with RenWeb. We truly stand by our product and with our customers.” Ease-of-Use Enhanced by Easy-to-Access Customer Support RenWeb’s value to schools is greatly enhanced by the world-class service and customer support that RenWeb makes easily accessible to schools: 1. Call directly into RenWeb’s toll-free line at 1-866-800-6593. 2. Initiate a Live Chat session with a member of the customer support team. 3. Submit a request into the RenWeb Customer Support tool to receive a callback from the support team. 4. Submit an after-hours Ask-A-Question with a guaranteed email response the following day. 5. Access the robust and exhaustive Online Help database, including more than 150 demonstration videos that walk customers through various tasks in RenWeb. Here's what a fan of Parent Alert at The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle had to say:
We have been using Parent Alert this year for weather notifications. Parent Alert was by far the fastest way of notifying everyone of what was happening each day, or in the middle of a day. The text and text-to-voice systems are very easy to use, and I was able to reach parents and staff with one alert. Everyone was very happy! -- The Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle

Here's what a fan at Northlake Christian School in Covington, Louisiana had to say:
We were encouraged by Hunter Systems to convert first to STI and then later upgrade to INOW in January of 2010. A short time after converting, we realized that INOW could not meet our needs. In our school's opinion, INOW is clunky, is often unusable, and has virtually no documentation. As a private school, we need the ability to track students' progress, keep track of demographics and achievement, offer a comprehensive site for parents to keep track of grades, absences and announcements, and especially to customize reports and offer online re-registration. In a very short time, we realized that INOW was unable to do any of these things. After viewing a short RenWeb demo at another area Christian school, I knew it would be perfect for Northlake Christian School. I called RenWeb in desperation, to see about the possibility of purchasing the product. I was nervous about the financial outlay, as well as the logistics of switching systems AGAIN, in the middle of the year. RenWeb was AMAZING. Everyone from our sales rep to project manager to each tech support representative has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make the transition (our second one in a year!) easier. I sing the praises of RenWeb every chance I can get. I literally cried after using the program for a week....everything about my job as an administrator was made easier with RenWeb. Teachers LOVE the FacultyWeb gradebook and parents LOVE ParentsWeb and can't stop raving about how easy it is to use. Online re-enrollment has helped our Admissions office tremendously. Even our technology-challenged Principal loves RenWeb...it's just that easy! As far as I am concerned, there is no need to even look at any other programs besides RenWeb. Rarely in my adult life have I felt so strongly about a product and particularly about a company. RenWeb is a product made by educators, for educators. I can talk for days on all the ways that RenWeb has improved the quality of life at Northlake Christian. -- Courtney Haindel, Secondary Assistant Principal at Northlake Christian School
