The Easy Way to Increase Inquiries

In a recent post on his blog, Brendan Schneider, school marketing guru, wrote about the importance of including a call-to-action after every blog post a school publishes.

One of the primary goals of your blog should be to convert a prospective family into an inquiry. You’ve already (hopefully) put in the SEO work to get them to find your school on Google in the first place. You’ve invested the time, energy, and maybe even money to get them there, and now you want them to read your blog and be compelled to reach out to your school for more information.

But how do you do that?

One particular school Schneider works with includes a call-to-action image (i.e., “inquire today”) at the end of every blog post. What could be more eye-catching than an image? Even if a visitor is just scanning the post they can’t miss the image. Link the image to an inquiry form or your online admissions landing page.

You could also offer them an invaluable guide or ebook that requires them to give their email address in order to download it. A small pop-up prompt to download a “10 Things to Consider When Choosing a Private School” ebook could include a second link to your Online Application. To speed re-enrollment of current families, offer a short guide about summer reading tips or ideas on how to help students transition smoothly from one grade to the next, and include a second link to your Online Enrollment forms.
